The Get Up Kids - Overdue

Ok.  I know this is shocking.  On time is one thing, but EARLY?  I won’t have internet later tonight, so SNMC is going up mid-day this week.  I figured since I will be missing their performance tonight in Belgium, and Tony and I have been listening to them all day to make up for it, a Get Up Kids song would be quite fitting.  The first track off of my favorite album of theirs, On a Wire, ’Overdue’ is a poignant and biting reflection of a faded relationship with a fleeting father.  Matt Pryor, as evident by my previous New Amsterdams selection, has always been and remains one of my favorite songwriters, consistently hitting the mark lyrically.

On a different note, I’d like to thank all of you for your support here on the site and out at the shows.  I feel like I can’t properly explain how much it means to me to have your interest and endorsement over the time I’ve had this site.  This place has become a big part of my life, and so have all of you.  I’m looking forward to our future, and I hope to see this site grow in content and support for years to come.  I adore you all very much.
